High-Low Hemlines

The High-Low hemlines are all over the place for this spring and I am in love with them in every shape and form. I love a high-low silhouette on a blouse for the way it offers the crop top look in the front with the behind covering benefits of a tunic! Moreover, I am so in love with the high-low trend in a midi or maxi length skirt. Throwing on one of these skirts is a great way to show some leg and still keep it modest. Plus, I think the silhouette proves to be flattering on all types of ladies. I know I am so excited to work some high-low hemlines this Spring.

16 FebHay folks! It’s me. Robyn! You might remember me from Rhitbee-isms. You probably don’t know me from there, but if you do, hey again! Welcome to my newest venture: Lot, Maude & Doll!

I haven’t been active on Rhitbee-isms for quite some time now. I have every excuse in the book for why this is the case but mainly I stopped posting there because I had a real lull in inspiration. A dry spell, if you will. I have been feeling inspired again though lately but I felt I really needed a new outlet. Hence, Lot, Maude & Doll.
Lot, Maude & Doll were my three Great Great Aunts. I never met any one of them but they are characters from my Grandmother’s stories. As my Nana described them they were three ol’ gals who sat around the kitchen table and sipped tea whilst sharing stories and thoughts amongst one another all the while questioning my Nan about when she was going to marry her nice Postman boyfriend.
Lot, Maude & Doll as a blog is going to be my kitchen table. My place to share my thoughts, my inspiration, and the things I am currently coveting. Not to worry! There will be some daily fashion the likes of what you saw over at Rhitbee-isms.
I’m excited to get this new project going! So, here we go. I hope that you will follow along.
